Donation for Christmas Goody Baskets

During this Christmas season where we often think of all that we have been given, we look for opportunities to bless others as well.  In that spirit it has been a tradition for our ward to put together baskets full of goodies to pass around to others.  Here is a list of common items we would like to include in our baskets this year. If you would like to donate any of these items please have them to a member of the RS Presidency by Tues Dec 22nd.  We'll update this list as we start having items filled.

We are still looking for these items:

Canned Fruits - 24 cans
Canned Tuna-approx 15 cans
boxed Macaroni & Cheese
Jam - 12 store bought
Sugar- 4 , 5 lbs bags
Oranges & Apples - as many lbs. as we can get
Or any other donation you feel will make the season brighter!

Thank you all for your generous spirit which demonstrates our love of Christ especially during the season that celebrates his birth.  Merry Christmas!

  1. I love checking our ward blog, you do a great job Heather! I will be helping with the baskets as well. Do we have a gift tree? Are we doing gifts for the children of the families that will get the baskets?

  2. I've got a ham and a turkey. Tell me when and were and I'll have them to you. I also have a bag of flour and a bag of sugar I would be happy to donate.
